Hello,

I have problems playing Call of duty Black Ops 7. It tells me that my BIOS does not meet the security requirements.
I updated bios through HP site with the latest version, TPM 2.0 is on and Secure boot is enabled in bios. But I still keep getting the warning from activision.
Anybody got a solution?

@FabioWuyt,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Unfortunately, this is an ongoing issue for many HP users, and you are not alone: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Desktops/Need-TPM-BIOS-Update/td-p/9479258.

Perhaps @Animatryx has more information for your particular PC.

Kind Regards,

Hey,

Thanks for a quick response, I saw that forum but it is marked solved already so I didn't know if they are aware some PC's still have this issue or not.

Kind regards,
Fabio.

@FabioWuyt,

The issue you are dealing with has been solved for some -including the user who posted the issue in the first place, but not for others with different PC platforms.

Warm Regards,

Hey,

It's a bit since there was a reaction here, is there any status update?
I also see I posted this under gaming notebooks instead of desktops..

Kind regards

Hey,

Sad to see that I still didn't get an answer, but maybe you can help me. I looked again at the drivers in the meantime, I have a windows 11 version 25H2 but the highest the drivers say is  24H2 and I saw there was an update for the bios that came out on 16 may 2026. Is that one safe to download or should I wait until the 25H2 version comes out?

Thanks in advance

@FabioWuyt,

You can safely install 25H2 from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=108398

Hey there,

I think you misunderstood me, I have the 25H2 version but the HP only let me pick up to  24H2 for the driver page, so my question was if I can download that BIOS too for the 25H2 version. Since I hope I can play Call of Duty now without the notification that I don't meet the BIOS requirement all te time.
