Omen 15-en0038ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laptop has halted during BIOS update and resulted the corrupted BIOS. I have tried to follow instructions on https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02693833 but from 3 BIOS versions available for the download:

sp104151.exe (F.02 Rev.A), sp107259.exe (F.06 Rev.A) and sp110332.exe (F.07 Rev.A) only BIOS_Update.exe from sp104151.exe starts on the computer different from HP Omen. I have tried 3 different PCs and a couple of VMs. Regretfully USB flash created from sp104151.exe  does not restore the BIOS (I have tested three different USB sticks).

Is it possible to obtain sp110332.exe (F.07 Rev.A) USB flash contents by any other way?

Update: The problem was solved. But HP, please check what is wrong with BIOS update. It is hard to find machine to run it without exceptions thrown.

Hi@ntkernel,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

HPSA merely re-directs the updates from the HP website to itself, however, due to application glitches, the HPSA may not be accurate at times, when this happens we recommend reinstalling the HPSA app. If that doesn't work, resort to using of HP website directly instead of using the HPSA until the next update resolves that issue.

And the Omen command center is not applicable for this model, you can ignore that.

Currently, there are no BIOS updates available for this model.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks!

Have a great day!
