Hello, I have had issues with my keyboard lights repeatedly until now that they're just off and nothing has worked.
The lighting option went missing from the Gaming Hub (again) and this one function key (both with and without 'fn') is not working.
It has happened before and I realized that if it did happen to work, shutting down Windows turned it off again, permanently.
Lights (and the lighting option) came back once by themselves, and once after I enabled 'active keys' from BIOS. I had zero issues with active keys before that, it just worked once.

 

All the other shortcuts work fine (mute, trackpad off, caps lock). Their small leds work as well.

 

Now for the main 4-zone RGB I have tried:

  • Reinstalled OGH dozens of times by now
  • Installed System Event Utility (it wasn't there with my original windows)
  • Tried updating BIOS from F13.0 (March) to F13.0 Rev.A (April). Doesn't work and it auto recovers back to F13.0
  • Turn active keys on/off
  • Remove all keyboard drivers from device manager
  • Allow Omen Background Process on/off
  • System Restore (kept my programs)
  • Full Windows 10 reset (kept my data)

    NOTHING has worked. I haven't found any working solutions in this forum. I only just got this machine in November and I've been troubleshooting since day 1, including an unnecessary reset. It's insane, I hope you provide me with something that works. Thanks

    (P.S Before this all started I already had issues with the WASD zone being the wrong color, as well. Never resolved. Proof of everything below.)
