Hello Holly

I assume your laptop is staying in the Automatic Repair boot and does not go forward, no matter how many times you try it?

There can be a number of reasons why it does this.

Can you tell me what model laptop it is please?

Also how long ago did you purchase it? Would it still be under warranty?

Try testing the hardware.

Hold the power button down until the computer shuts off (if its still on).

With the computer plugged in, press the power button to turn in on.

Rapidly tap the F2 key immediately after pressing the power button, until the Diagnostics menu appears.

Choose to do an Extensive Test for everything. It will take a while.

If you cannot get to the Diagnostics, the drive may have failed.

Let me know what happens.

Are there any personal files on your "gaming laptop" that you have not backed up yet?

You might have to do a factory reset and re-install Windows. If or when you do, you will have to reinstall any programs/games you added and any personal files will be erased.

Let me know what the test results are.

BTW, you can tap F1 at power on to get the info screen and it will tell you what the model/product number is of your laptop.

When you're done testing the hardware.
