Dear community
Knowing that battery care function would help extending the battery longevity, I change the setting from 100% to 80%.
After changing, the laptop stop charging once the battery level reach 79%, which is usual, but I further notice that battery condition in HP Support Assistant tuned red, indicating battery failure.
However, once I unplugged the power supply, wait for the battery to drain a bit (around 72%), and plug the supply back, the battery condition return to normal.
And if the battery level reaches 79% again, the battery condition shows a failure.
Is this usual or I should call the service team to have a look.
Note that I have been using the laptop for only 6 months.
Thanks

@Varith1991991 I recommend you test and calibrate the battery using the steps mentioned in this link for details: click here, once done, we should be able to identify if the failure is withing the software or the battery, also, please try the below steps to reinstall the battery drivers:
- Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.
- Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.
- Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,
- Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
