Hello, i want to ask a question that's in my head for quite a time, can i have my laptop always charging 24/7?
By charging it means that AC current to the laptop, so the performance very good, but by using battery, the perform not that well. so I want my laptop always connected to AC supply, but i am conscious of battery health and battery span lifetime.
Is it okay to do that?
Thanks for your kind answer.
Best regards.

Hello @AidilA
For Omen 16 use (3)
(1) Old HP BIOS
> System Configuration > Battery Care Function <80%>
> System Configuration > Battery Care Function <50%>
(2) New HP BIOS
> Advanced > [x] Power Control [ Maximize my battery health ]
(3) OMEN BIOS
> Configuration > Adaptive Battery Optimizer [Enabled]
( it will decrease the full charging capacity )
However, the battery should be used in a balanced way despite this setting. Use battery (only) from time to time and go down to 30% capacity and charge again normally with adaptive battery optimization always on. At the end of the loading process Windows shows 100%, but in reality the actual capacity is lower to protect the battery. Do not be irritated, everything is fine.
Good luck
