Hello.
I had an old battery that needed changing. Bought new one through Amazon. Installed it as it needs to be. The battery discharges and charges properly. The only problem is that I can’t calibrate it at all.
I’ve tried the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic through PC and UEFI. From PC just shows that battery should be calibrated. On the UEFI I put down the charger and let the computer discharge the battery over Calibration of battery. As it did, then I gave it 4-5 hours before I charged it again. Still not calibrated.
HP Support Assistant was showing battery Unknown before, but now it’s saying it works okay buy needs calibration.
The test from powercfg /batteryreport shows up okay, the battery cycles are 3/300.
Just I don’t know what to do now to calibrate the battery. Because I’d like to see how much battery I have left in minutes as well, since it shows up percentage only.
