My HP Spectre x360 model 13-aw0023dx is about 2.5 years old. The battery has expanded and stripped the screw holes holding the back onto the machine. I need a new battery. I'm using electrical tape to hold the back onto the machine. What battery does HP recommend I get so this problem doesn't recur?

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0023dx (7PS48UA) according to: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06470138 and: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=7PS48UA, requires this HP battery (p/n): L60373-005 ("Battery 4C 60Wh 3.946Ah LI RR").

Quality replacement batteries for your laptop can be bought online, such as this example: https://www.amazon.com/ASODI-L60213-AC1-L60373-005-Replacement-13-aw0001lm/dp/B09NRC9NG3/ref=sr_1_1_....

Hope this was helpful.

I'm concerned that the OEM battery only lasted 2+ years. Please advise whether that's normal. I'd like an extended warranty for a replacement battery. The suggested battery only has 2 reviews and no warranty info. Is there a battery with an extended warranty available?

@Manatee_Man,

Quite often the replacement batteries exceed the original specs.

Please be advised that OEM HP L60373-005 batteries are out of stock and "EOL" (End of Life) designated and no longer manufactured.

In terms of warranty, the very best you are going to get/find anywhere is 90 days.
