Hi @WhiteGambit,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It seems like your Victus 15 gaming laptop isn't charging with either the regular or USB-C charger. Let's troubleshoot the issue step by step.

Start with the basics, ensure you're using the original HP charger, and plug it into a different wall outlet to rule out power issues. If you're using a surge protector or power strip, try plugging directly into the wall instead.

Next, inspect both the charger and the charging port for any damage, dust, or bent pins. If you have access to another compatible HP charger, test it to determine if the adapter is at fault.

Perform a hard reset on your laptop. Unplug the charger, disconnect all external devices, and press and hold the power button for 30–60 seconds to drain any residual power. Then plug the charger back in and try turning it on.

If you’re attempting to charge via USB-C, please note that the Victus 15 gaming laptop does not support USB-C charging. USB-C ports on this model are typically meant for data transfer and external display connections.

Look for charging indicator lights near the charging port. No light might indicate a hardware issue, while a blinking or orange light suggests the battery is critically low but functional.

Try accessing the BIOS by turning the laptop on while pressing F2 or F10. If it powers on in BIOS but not in Windows, the problem could be software-related.

If you can turn it on, visit the HP Support website to check for BIOS updates or battery firmware updates that might address this issue.

Let me know how these steps go or if you need additional guidance! 😊

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
