Battery life

Hey guys, I wanted to know how long my laptop battery would last while doing tasks such as typing essays or watching movies.

@Yeungster, welcome to the forum.

Here is the Data Sheet for the laptop.  If you look at the section titled "Target battery life, it states: Up to 12 hours and 30 minutes estimated battery time 3

I will add that this time may vary slightly, one way or the other, depending on the circumstances.

i feel like the estimated battery life describes how long the battery lasts when the laptop is powered on but asleep. However the data sheet does help and i'll keep the information in mind.

If you look at Note 3 at the bottom of the page, in fine print, it tells you how they came up with the amount of time.
