Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I saw another recent post about this issue. At some point within the last few days my laptop's battery also swelled up. The swelling was so severe that it actually broke free the bottom cover from the screw to make room for the battery. This is obviously a little safety issue.

It's better now that the battery is removed - you are correct that a swollen battery can cause secondary damage to the case and / or other components inside the computer.
