I got a new laptop today from walmart, when I got home I plugged it in bwcause I have always been told to let a new electronics charge for 24 hours before first use, I went our for two hours came home and my sister had gotten my laptop unplugged it and was playing on it, then She said the battary drains really fast, so I turned off the laptop plugged it back in for another 6 hours, and when I turned it on while still plugged in it was stuck at 99% I dont know if its because its still getting full battery length and once I unplug it it will go to 100%( I dont really want to unplug it tell its been 24 hours so have not checked) or if its an issue somewhere else?

" I have always been told to let a new electronics charge for 24 hours before first use" no never do this.

you can already use it even before charging. and yes gaming laptops run through battery power super fast. consider plugging for most of usage time
