Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, thank you for taking time to read this.

Installed Windows 11, downloaded Bios update from optional updates along with other updates which I usually do. It was Firmware 15.66 something, laptop restarted and went to blank screen, no capslock and backloght led is on and fan on full speed. Win+V would give CMOS reset display and again same error. Tried Bios recovery with Usb Win+ B, kept trying and randomly worked one time but then I realized it was latest BIOS which I installed in USB which was the actual issue so bios did flash, it did say Bios reset had occur but again same issue.

Win+B key didn’t work again.

Gave it to local repair shop, he mentioned one 16 MB bios chip and two small 1 MB chips. He flashed all of them, started giving capslock 5 long 3 short blinks, led backlight off, fans not running or very slow.

Downloaded BIOS from HP site which I used to update before, old version, F.38 also F.39.

Extracting them would give 08746.bin file with same name and another signature file 08746.sig which is 1 kb.

2 more files like this with each of its own signature files.

So he tried Flashing all 3 16 MB files one by one. Same error of capslock. I don’t know what he flashed in those two small chips but he said he reversed it.

He gave back the laptop to me and said he reversed everything but same capslock error. It should at least give that CMOS reset display but sadly.

Can you provide me files which are supposed to be flashed in that 16 MB chip and those in 1 MB chips ?
