Hi @Raj87534

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The “CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED” blue screen error typically points to a system file or driver failure.

Thank you for the effort you’ve already made—it’s clear you’ve been thorough. Let’s now move through a focused set of steps to resolve this issue and get your HP system running smoothly again.

Step 1: Disconnect All External Devices

  • Power off the PC.
  • Remove USB drives, printers, external monitors, and any other peripherals.
  • Restart and observe if the error persists.

Step 2: Boot into Safe Mode

  1. Power on and interrupt the boot three times (force shutdown during Windows logo) to trigger Recovery Mode.
  2. Select Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  3. Choose Enable Safe Mode with Networking.
  4. If the system boots successfully, proceed to update or remove recently installed drivers.

Step 3: Run System File Checker and DISM

  1. In Safe Mode, open Command Prompt as Administrator.
  2. Run the following commands one by one:
    sfc /scannow
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  3. Restart the system normally.

Step 4: Perform Startup Repair

  1. Boot into Recovery Mode again.
  2. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions.

Detailed instructions are available here: HP PCs – Resolving Blue Screen Errors in Windows

Step 5: Check for Driver Conflicts

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Look for yellow warning icons under System Devices, Display Adapters, and Storage Controllers.
  3. Right-click and choose Update driver or Uninstall (then restart).

Step 6: Scan for Malware

  1. Open Windows Security from the Start menu.
  2. Run a Full Scan under Virus & threat protection.
  3. Remove any threats found and restart.

Step 7: Restore System (if issue persists)

  1. Boot into Recovery Mode.
  2. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore.
  3. Choose a restore point before the issue began.

Step 8: Reset Windows (last resort)

  1. Go to Settings > System > Recovery.
  2. Select Reset this PC > Keep my files.
  3. Follow prompts to reinstall Windows while preserving personal data.

More guidance is available here: HP PCs – Resetting Your Computer (Windows 11)

Would you like me to also share how to generate a crash log using Windows Event Viewer? It can help pinpoint which process triggered the error and guide further action.

If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
