My wireless headset not connecting at all. it only comes from laptop speaker. When I use Type A connection it just comes from speaker, and with Type C it often on and off the connection. I followed all the instruction and checked the headset no problem at all. even with different computer it works normally.

@Byambaa28, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like you're having trouble with your wireless headset connection on your OMEN MAX 16-inch Gaming Laptop. Since the headset works fine on other devices but not on your laptop, there might be an issue with the laptop’s settings, drivers, or the Bluetooth connection.
Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
Check Bluetooth Drivers
Right-click on the Start menu and choose Device Manager.
Look for Bluetooth in the list.
Right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
If an update is found, follow the prompts to install it.
If that doesn’t help, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver:
Right-click on the Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
Restart your laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.
Check Audio Output Settings
Sometimes, even when the headset is connected, the audio may still be routed to the laptop’s speakers. Here’s how to change the audio output:
Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and select Open Sound settings.
Under Output, ensure your wireless headset is selected.
You might also see a “Bluetooth” option under Playback devices in the Sound settings. Make sure your headset is selected there.
Bluetooth Interference and Range
Bluetooth can sometimes be flaky, especially with interference or range issues. Try these:
Move closer to the laptop to see if the connection stabilizes.
Ensure there are no obstacles between the headset and the laptop (e.g., metal objects, other Bluetooth devices).
Try disconnecting other Bluetooth devices that might be interfering with the connection.
Try the Headset with Bluetooth Troubleshooter
Windows 11 has a built-in Bluetooth troubleshooter that can help fix connection issues:
Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter and see if it identifies any issues.
Reset Bluetooth Settings
If the above methods don’t work, you can try resetting Bluetooth settings:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.
Find your headset, click on the three dots, and choose Remove device.
Turn off Bluetooth, restart your laptop, and then try pairing the headset again.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
