Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i had some fundemental problems with my OS and decided that a wipe was in order to solve any underlaying issues, first i tried rebooting it though the windows recovery tool, this didn't work, it just said it failed and that no changes had been made, so i tried using the HP support assistant instead - to make a long story short i found some sort of reboot option via the "HP support assistant" app on my computer, i got that process started and it got stuck at 1%, after a while a failure prompt was displayed with only and "OK" option available from my side, after which my computer restarted landing me with a 3F0 error and a message saying "boot device not found" i tried accessing the boot device from my BIOS setting without any luck, i tried booting from it through the f11 command without any reaction from the computer, so i went online. HP told me to check the integrity of my harddrives which i could do from a system diagnostic tool that's still acessable, it didn't find any problems with my harddrives - so i'm a bit stuck i think i need to order a "reboot device" from HP...but my warranty has expiered and i can't find any information on how to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

The issue solved itself, turned out that the very filesystem (NTFS) was corrupted, i was able to reboot the device from a USB stick with a trail version of windows on it, the installation drive did have to be reformated though. After that it turned out that the windows activation was tied to the microsoft account that was tied to the computer, so everything turned out well in the end.

In order to find your PCs information, I need the full model or product number.

It should be listed on the bottom of the case in tiny letters.

Or you might be able to access the systems info via F1... Turn the computer on and immediately and rapidly tap F1. There should be an info menu appear.

Let me know if that works.
