My OMEN 17-CB1005NA notebook has the following storage.... 512GB PCIe® NVMe M2 SSD 2TB SATA SSD 1TB PCIe® NvMe M2 SSD.
It boots from 512GB drive. I have cloned this to the 1TB drive and if I remove 500GB drive the machine boots ok from 1TB cloned drive as C.
When I reinsert 500GB drive it boots from that one again regardless of which slot it is fitted in. Any Ideas?
Should I risk formatting 500GB drive ?

Old drive still carries "signature" therefore you have to clear that by initialize or format it.
