Thank you so much! I'll give it a try. I knew it happened after an update, but I had a couple updates that took place and I didn't know which one. Shame on HP! They were also trying to charge people to fix the issue when they are the ones that caused the issue - Insane! Thank you again!!

I'm having this same issue on my HP Omen 15!!!! Very annoying when playing games such as valorant where the caps lock key is held down to view the in-game map. Terminating the hp system event utility also seems to be a temporary fix for me. Hoping for a permanent fix soon...
