Good afternoon! Please tell me, when the laptop is running on charging, the CPU frequency in games is 800-3900 MHz. When you turn off the charge, the frequency does not fall below the base - 2.3 MHz. What could be the reason? In a laptop or charger?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that the CPU frequency drops when you disconnect the charger.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
