So a few weeks ago I got a notice from HP Support Assistant telling me that my battery needed calibration, and I followed the instructions, scanning battery health, draining the battery and then waiting 6 hours before charging it again, and nothing seems to work. Is there any other way to get this issue solved? Thanks

Hi @32-bit,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
Are you getting any warning to change the battery or any failure ID, when battery was calibrated?
If you have tried these steps from this document and still having issues, battery may need replacement.
Keep me posted for further assistance.

I'm not getting any error stating that the battery needs to be replaced, all its saying is it needs to be calibrated. I also went onto the HP PC hardware diagnosis window, and scanned the battery but all it says it needs to be calibrated, and when I click next, it just says the test was cancelled. I'm not sure if its a glitch or something else. Thanks

Hi @32-bit,
Currently are you facing any issues with the battery?
If the battery is not troubling and running smoothly, I would say, you may ignore that popup.
If you are facing any issues with the battery, then this might need service/replacement. Let me know
