Hi @GA_Mo

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your Victus by HP Laptop 16-d0xxx is facing a camera driver issue, which is causing the "No Cameras are attached" error.

Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Step 1: Check for Hidden Devices

  1. Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu).
  2. Click View > Show hidden devices.
  3. Look for the camera under Imaging Devices or Cameras. If it’s listed, right-click and select Enable.

Step 2: Update Windows

  1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  2. Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
  3. Restart your laptop and check if the camera driver is installed automatically.

Step 3: Install Camera Driver

  1. Visit the HP Support page for your laptop model.
  2. Download and install the latest camera driver for Windows 11.
  3. Restart your laptop after installation.

Step 4: Use HP Support Assistant

  1. Download and install HP Support Assistant from the HP website.
  2. Open HP Support Assistant and check for updates and messages.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install any available camera driver updates.

Step 5: Scan for Hardware Changes

  1. Open Device Manager and click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
  2. If the camera driver is not found, try installing a generic driver:
    • Right-click on Cameras or Imaging Devices and select Update driver.
    • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

Step 6: Update BIOS

  1. Visit the HP Support page and download the latest BIOS update for your laptop. How to Update BIOS Software on Windows PCs | HP® Tech Takes
  2. Install the BIOS update and restart your laptop.
