Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0047tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I'm using HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0047tx. I want to add Crucial RAM in another slot. Does it affect the performance if I add another brand RAM in HP laptop ? or should I buy HP RAM. And of-course I will buy the RAM with matching configurations of existing RAM.

A compatible Crucial memory chip will normally work fine with the memory HP installed.

 

This would be the memory you want. 

 

8 GB:  CT8G4SFRA266

 

Crucial 8GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM | CT8G4SFRA266 | Crucial IN

 

16 GB: CT16G4SFD8266

 

Crucial 16GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM | CT16G4SFD8266 | Crucial IN

 

Do not buy gaming memory as the timings are faster than the memory HP installed.
