Hi,

I know GPU in laptops are fixed to motherboard and cannot be replaced in general. But it is mentioned in the below faq that most Victus laptops GPU can be upgraded as well. So I was wondering if my laptop GPU can be upgraded as well.

Hi:

Yes, you can upgrade the GPU if you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better GPU.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

It would probably be less expensive to buy a new notebook that comes with better graphics than to replace the motherboard in yours.

You will find no procedure in chapter 6 of the service manual for just replacing the graphics adapter.
