Hi:

Make sure you plug the USB flash drive into one of the PC's USB 3 ports.

It won't boot from the USB 3.1 port.

I have tried all the USB ports with no success.

Did you use the media creation tool to make the W10 installation media?

If you did, then unfortunately, I don't know why you are getting that error.

W10 has the USB 3.0 drivers included.

The only thing it may not have is the sata drivers for the new chipset your notebook has.

I have zipped those drivers up and attached them below.

Copy the files in the folder to a USB flash drive.

When you go to install W10 select the Load Driver option as shown in the picture below.

how to reinstall Windows 10

Browse to the flash drive with the sata controller files and if you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

Then hopefully, W10 will install.

Thanks for your answers.
It did not work with the drivers you added to this thread.

Finally I managed to solve the problem. Issue was that I wrote the USB stick using dd from linux / mac.
USB was detected but it did not find the right drivers.

I then wrote the USB with a RUFUS in windows not on MAC or LINUX and it worked properly.

All the best and thanks for your help.

You're very welcome.

Glad you were able to install W10.
