OMEN by HP 15-ax246tx Laptop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I recently got a HP Omen 15-ax246tx and I cannot use the track/touchpad and keyboard at the same time. If I try to move my cursor while pressed 1+ keys, nothing will happen. Most articles I could find say to modify some variables in the Registry Editor which I've done, but that has done nothing to improve the issue. If anyone here can help, I will be very grateful.

Hi @logabe

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

From what I have understood you are not able to use your touchpad and keyboard at the same time. Do not worry we are here to help you fix the issue.

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

May I know if you have made any recent hardware or software related changes to your system?

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Go to the Control Panel (large icon view) then > click Mouse > Device Settings tab > Settings. Under the Synaptics Settings, go to Pointing > Sensitivity > Palmcheck and set the palm sensitivity to the minimum, and test the game.

If the issue persists, update all the drivers on your system and check the functionality: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2857204-2362249-16

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
