Solved!

Charger compatibility

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion 15-cx0056wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Due to a malfunction I have to replace my charger for my HP Pavilion 15-cx0056wm gaming laptop. The original charger has the specifications 19.5V, 7.7A and 150w.  If I find another HP laptop charger with the exact same specifications, will that be usable? Or are there any other things that factor into this?

Thank you!

Please ONLY use the right part number which is  917649-850. You can buy from

            http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=917649-850

Or use part # to buy elsewhere, for example

            https://www.newegg.com/p/16J-0010-00UF4

Regards.
