Product: OMEN by HP 17-cb0006na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Laptop runs on battery but not on adaptor power adaptor has good output at 19.8 v.

Laptop charges when not switched on but power light immediately goes off when laptop is powered up and diagnostics say no AC power adaptor connected 

Updated all drivers and ran diagnostics which only say no AC power supply connected 

At a loss as what to do.
