Hp omen 17-cb0004tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got a Hp omen 17-cb0004TX but don't have its original charger i tried charging it with a 230w hp charger but it only charges when its turned off and doesn't charge while running can someone. I know it requires 330w charger but I just want to confirm if this because of the charger or something else as I don't want to waste more money on a charger and it not being the issue.

Do not play with electricity and power supplies that do not fit the notebook, otherwise you can damage your device !

You have to check the specification of your notebook [ plus product number (p/n) ] and order the right HP spare part power supply, that's the only solution in this case.

@Harris12

Its specs:

It requires a 330W AC adapter (charger). 230W is too weak to charge therefore it ONLY charges when its turned off and doesn't charge while running

You have to a proper charger which is part # 925142-850

Regards.
