When I am charging my omen 16 laptop while it is off it charge but when i turn on the laptop then the charging get automatically stops

Basic Checks
- Try a Different Power Outlet: Ensure the socket is providing stable power.
- Check for Loose Connections: Make sure the charger is properly connected to both the power outlet and the laptop.
- Inspect the Charger and Port: Look for any damage to the charging port or the adapter.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Power off the laptop.
- Unplug the charger and remove any external peripherals.
- Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
- Plug in the charger and turn on the laptop.
Update BIOS and Drivers
- Update BIOS:
- Go to HP’s official support website and check for the latest BIOS update for your model.
- Follow the instructions carefully to install it.
- Update Battery and Power Drivers:
- Open Device Manager (
Win + X> Device Manager). - Expand Batteries and Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
- Right-click Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, then select Update driver.
