I bought my hp victus 16, 5 months ago and now it is not cahrging when its on but charging when its off. When i plug in my charger it blinks Orange and its charging but i press the Power button its blink White only once then the Light turn off. I cant charge my laptop when its on and i am archi student. I have to solve this problem asap! ( i've checked my adapter and it is okay)

  • Update Drivers and BIOS: Ensure that your laptop's drivers and BIOS are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers or BIOS can cause charging issues.
  • Perform a Power Reset: Shut down your laptop, disconnect the power adapter, and remove the battery (if possible). Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power. Then reconnect the battery and power adapter and try turning on your laptop again.
  • Inspect Charging Port: Check the charging port on your laptop for any physical damage or debris that may be obstructing the connection. Use compressed air to clean out any dust or debris.
  • Try a Different Power Outlet: Plug your charger into a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the outlet itself.
  • Test with Different Charger: If possible, try using a different charger to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem lies with the charger or the laptop.
