HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec1009nu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, Everyone!

I've got HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec1009nu. It has a Type C port but I can't find information if it can be used for charging the machine.

Thanks in advance!

@SamuilA,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1009nu (23V63EA) appears to be equipped with a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port supporting data transfer only according to: Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

[EDIT:] Yes, @banhien, that means the same as: "You can NOT use it to Charge your machine".

Hope this was helpful.

The specs of your machine is

             https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c06986998

It ONLY has 1  SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine, <----
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

Regards.
