I have posted about this issue before, but I have yet to find a solution. Ever since OCC version 6 and above, the lighting features have gone missing, and other features are sporadic. My laptop does have 4 zone lighting, and the version that came pre-installed (4.x) had it working. Some features were slowly starting to come back in 7.x, but as of the latest version that I got yeterday (7.3.3.0), only Game Stream remains. I have tried numerous fixes from here, email support, chat support, phone support, and I even had a remote session that did not produce any results. Does anyone know when a fix is coming, or is the issue going to continue to be ignored?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I checked the specifications of your computer and see that your computer doesn’t support 4 zone lighting features.
Please refer to the below article under the section “OMEN Command Center features” for the supported feature on the computer.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

It appears this model does have a 4 zone backlight keyboard. The HP Specs seem to have reported it wrong.
I have found it does have 4 zones according to reviews on Amazon.
Here is a video clip of the 15-DC0051nr with the keyboard.

HP needs to look into this. I dont know if this is why the new Omen Command Centers update is affected or not, but needs to be reported.

As Photoray002 mentioned, this model certainly does have 4-zone lighting, as you can see in the video as well as this image on the product page. I can also take a picture if that would help. Even the OCC link you included has 2 columns for OMEN by HP 15-dcxxxx Notebook, one with no support and one with support for certain configurations. If HP's documentation is in fact the issue, I hope they can get that resolved quickly. I have been waiting for a fix for a few months now.

I was asked to have you try uninstalling the Omen Command Center.
Then reinstall the OCC again from MS... Get OMEN Command Center - Microsoft Store
Then manually go to Windows updates and make it search for updates until there are none.
Then run the HP Support Assistant and see if it finds any driver updates.
Latest version of HP Support Assistant is here... https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html
Then see if the OCC will work.
Let me know the results. The team will put a query in after this.

I have completed the requested steps, and OCC still only shows the Game Stream section. It's missing the entire "Omen Laptop" section (which included lighting among other features). Anything else I should try? I'm pretty certain it's a software issue with OCC, especially since updates keep removing and adding other features.

OK thanks.
Most likely yes.
I assume you have not reinstalled Windows or have done a factory reset either?
Your Bios should be version F.07 also.
Does reinstalling the OMEN Command Center SDK Package do anything?

I will report it to the admins. I do not know when a fix will occur but I will let you know when I find out anything.
I would also contact HP Support for warranty claims, just so it gets reported there too.
