The Crucial memory report for the model series indicates it will support a 4 TB NVMe SSD.

Just make sure that it is single-sided.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the SSD removal and replacement procedure:

Note that either model number should have support for two M.2 NVMe SSD's since they come with the Intel i7-14700HX processor.
