I am looking for a Compatible NVMe/PCIe M.2 SSDs for Storage Upgrade for my HP 15-db000dx. It came with a 128GB M.2 and I would like to upgrade to 500GB or more if possible.

You're missing a number from the model number you posted.
A general search only turns up a HP 15-DB0005dx that comes with a Ryzen5 2500U processor and a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD.
If that is your notebook, you can upgrade it to a NVMe SSD.
A suggested NVMe SSD:
Your notebook's M.2 slot is PCie Gen 3.0 so the Gen 4.0 SSD will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot, but you will probably find that a Gen 4.0 SSD will cost less than the older Gen 3 drives nowadays.
