Hi @At25st,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy x360 14-inch 2-in-1 laptop isn't turning on or recognizing the charger, even after trying multiple chargers, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Check the power button:
- Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to ensure it's not stuck or malfunctioning.
Inspect the charging port and cable:
- Ensure that the charging port is clean and free from any debris.
- Inspect the charging cable and adapter for any visible signs of damage. If possible, test it with another compatible laptop or device to ensure the adapter is working.
Perform a hard reset:
- Disconnect the charger and any external devices.
- Hold down the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the charger and try turning the laptop on again.
Check the battery:
- If your laptop has a removable battery, try removing and reinserting it.
- If the battery is non-removable, try leaving the charger plugged in for about 30 minutes to allow the battery to charge slightly before attempting to power it on again.
Try a different outlet:
- Plug the charger into a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the socket.
Check for indicator lights:
- When plugged in, check if any LED lights appear on the laptop, indicating charging or power.
- If no lights appear, the motherboard or charging circuit might be faulty.
Test with a different charger:
- Even though you’ve tried multiple chargers, ensure they are providing the correct power output for your specific model. The HP Envy x360 may require a specific voltage and amperage, so verify the specs.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
