Laptop has been experiencing constant BSOD on startup and when unplugged for the past 6 months. Error messages include (but are not limited to): IQRL_not_less_or_equal and Unexpected_store_error. Hypervisor and Kernel security check errors used to be more common, but after taking it to BestBuy for diagnostics, they seemed to have disappeared. I've tried everything up to and including a clean windows installation and nothing has stopped the blue screens for more than a few days.

Hi @HelpMe185,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thank you for sharing your experience — I can completely understand how frustrating and disruptive this must be, especially on a high-performance OMEN by HP 16.1" Gaming Laptop. You’ve already taken commendable steps.
a) Had it diagnosed by Best Buy, after which some issues like Hypervisor errors and Kernel Security Check failures stopped appearing.
b) Performed a clean Windows installation — but unfortunately, the remaining BSOD errors continue to occur, especially on startup and when unplugged.
We appreciate your patience and the effort you’ve put into troubleshooting this. To help you better, I would request you to please run a Hardware test on the pc and let me know if you get any hardware failure error.
Extensive Test:
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
