Hello,

I have an entry level gaming laptop and i face fps drops while playing games.THe laptop has GTX 1050 with 8GB ram and Intel core i5 7th gen. My usual FPS while playing Counter strike is 80-90 FPS even on low settings and it gets down to 20-30 fps every 15 seconds. I have tried so many things some of them are-

  1. Changing the nvidia 3D settings to Performance previously set to balanced balanced.
  2. Changing the windows settings preferring to performance previously set to quality.
  3. Playing on High performance in battery settings.
  4. Tweaking settings in game (posted on CSGO forums).
  5. Updated bios and nvidia drivers.

Done all of these things but i still face the issue. I have friends who have laptops with same specs but different brands getting fps around 140-150.  Please help me with the problem cuz i am down to do anything to get better frame rates. Believe me its frustrating. Thank you for taking time to read my question.

At this point I would request you to contact HP Support and our Support Engineers should be able to Remote into your Notebook and sort this out

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
