    Hey now! I'm new here, I think this place is a rad idea! I LOVE this device and not ready to upgrade as it still more than meets all my needs. I have developed an ever so slight hairline crack alongside the charging port. I'm not hardware savvy so home disassemblely isn't really an option, also not looking to spend $300 in repairs. What's my best bet here? JB weld over the top would do this justice? I'm not very mobile with the device but am trying to avoid it getting worse. Any tips and or suggestions would be very much welcome and appreciated! Thanks all! ✌🏻

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue, and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now,

 

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest youContact HPin your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
