I play a lot of fighting games, and recently found that my D key is slightly unresponsive. I removed the key cap to make sure everything else is fine, which it is; it seems to only be the D key. This is becoming very frustrating as I just cleaned my keyboard a couple of days ago, and I have found no solutions to this problem. Please help.

Gaming setups with frequent inputs from fighting games can exacerbate wear on specific keys like D (common for strafing or movement). That's why we recommend considering an external USB keyboard for gaming. You've already done the basic things, so I won't tell you anything further as you could damage your laptop.

Either get a good external gaming keyboard, they are more solid, or, if you want to fix the D key on your laptop, visit the nearest HP service center for diagnosis and repair. Depending on their policy, if it's under warranty, they can fix it without charges. If visiting the HP service center, make sure to back up your important data. You can also contact hp agent directly for any question related to documents required, warranty, etc
