Hi @Sagar2231,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Pavilion 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop's display. It sounds frustrating that the left side is behaving automatically. Let's try to get this sorted out together.
- Did this issue start suddenly, or did you notice it after installing new software or updates?
- Have you checked if any external devices (like a mouse or keyboard) might be causing the cursor to move automatically?
- Is the laptop experiencing any other unusual behavior, such as random input or unexpected actions outside of the display issue?
Let's try these steps.
Restart the Laptop:
- Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Restart your laptop and check if the issue persists.
Disconnect External Devices:
- If you have any external devices connected (USB mouse, keyboard, etc.), disconnect them and see if the problem continues. This will help determine if an external device is causing the issue.
Check for Stuck Keys:
- Inspect the keyboard for any stuck keys, especially the Ctrl and Tab keys, which could cause unexpected behavior. Clean the keyboard gently and ensure all keys are functioning properly.
Update or Roll Back Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager and expand the Human Interface Devices section. Look for any devices that may relate to input or display.
- Right-click on the relevant device and select Update driver. If the issue started after a recent update, consider rolling back the driver to a previous version.
Run the HP Hardware Diagnostics: Click here
- Use the built-in HP Hardware Diagnostics tool to check for any hardware issues. You can access it by restarting your laptop and pressing the Esc key to enter the Startup Menu, then selecting Diagnostics.
- Follow the prompts to run tests related to display and input devices.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be helpful to contact HP phone Support for further assistance, as there might be a deeper hardware issue at play.
Keep me posted for further assistance
