Hello,
I was just wondering, as I have been made aware that HP Omen laptops have empty slots for upgrades.
Can these upgrades be performed by the end user, or does it have to be done by a professional.
I find it ridiculous, if it voids the warranty only as a result of utilising the full potential of the device as ultimately, the end user.
It does make sense that if damage occurs during the process, the end user is liable and then the warranty is voided, however if no damage has been done, and every part stays intact, I would like to pose the simple question.
Does the warranty get voided, and what are my options to do it without sacrificing warranty.

@Bobjohnson23 Here's all you need to know about upgrades:
Disclaimer: I must let you know that HP does not recommend upgrades or hardware changes as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance by design, that said, the upgradeable parts listed by HP articles are purely for your ease, as the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion.
Check out the image below for details on parts tested and approved by HP to work on your device, also use the above link for keyword search to find the parts you need, along with its part numbers.
It doesn't void the warranty, however, 3rd party parts are not covered by the HP warranty and if some hardware issue occur due to the new parts inserted, charges may apply to get the device repaired.
