Solved!

Does my Laptop(Omen 17-an100ne) supports DisplayPort alternate mode?

HP Recommended
Omen 17-an100ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm planning to buy a display tablet to connect and use with my laptop.

In order to do that, my laptop (Omen 17-an100ne) needs to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

I essentially want to find out my laptop does this. My laptop does have a thunderbolt port.

Thanks in advance!

Its specs

          https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06078851

which show it has 1 Thunderbolt™ 3 (Data Transfer up to 40 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge) port that means it supports Alt mode. You can use USB-C to DP cable to connect to a monitor with DP or USB-C to USB-C monitor.

Regards.

This means it can be used to transfer video signals and data simultaneously, right?
