Hi,


I've found a good deal on a OMEN 15-ax203na but it only has the 1TB hdd installed.

 

I am planning on adding a 256gb Samsung PM961 NMVe drive myself but just wanted to make sure that the OMEN 15-ax203na actually has a M.2 PCI-e slot and it's not just the models that come with a M.2 drive pre configured that have the slot.

 

The spec is: 

HP OMEN 15-ax203na Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB, NVIDIA GTX 1050, 15.6" Full HD

Yes it will have an M.2 PCIe M-keyed slot.

The Samsung PM961 drive will work.

 

I would be sure to create your HP recovery media first before wiping the HDD (if that is your plan).
