Hello,
I have constant driver crashes while playing videogames (Red Dead Redamption 2, Apex Legends, Total War Warhammer 3...).
I have updated to latest Nvidia driver with GeForce Experience 528.24. When i check Event Viewer it says:
The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\000000c7
0000(0000) 00000000 00000000
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
Followed by:
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
Can you, please, help me solve the issue

Hello @vladavdj96
If you have valid <HP warranty> please contact HP Support.
The NVidia driver from HP is too old which is the main problem ! With HP products it is not possible to install the latest driver from the graphics card manufacturer (NVIDIA or AMD). It is always necessary to use the driver provided by HP. |
Kind regards

Same issue, similar notebook, also omen 16.
Tried all:
- multiple windows edition
- multiple driver reinstalls (ddu and no ddu)
- bios and vbios reflashes
- registry tweaks
- msi afterburner downclocking
Etc...
What actually solved it for me:
Disable SAGV aka "System Agent Geyserville" in bios
Not sure if that's a recommended way, but it works for me.
