My E key seems to stop wanting to work  just at random. It usually takes like 2-20 presses for it to work (like i am doing right now), and this has been a brand new issue that started out of nowhere. It will sometimes work consistently whenever I type on it more often in a sentence or something, but it is super annoying having to spam it, or copy and paste a single letter. I have already taken the key out and cleaned it, done a component diagnostic test, my system is also up to date according to my system information. Nothing seems to work. Please help, I want to be able to throw a grenade again in games.     😞

When you remove the keycap you should see one of these type key assemblies

Is the rubber dome damaged? If so, it and the key can all be replaced.

Go here to get a replacement.  You can always contact the vendor to ask specific questions.

My thought:  If there is no damage to the dome, when you press it responds  correctly but it still does not work.  That indicates a problem with the circuit board and not with the clip and dome.  The keyboard needs to be replaced.  Possibly part number number P13916-001 but I am just guessing.  You need to enter the serial number of  your laptop to get the exact model at this location
