HP Recommended

Hello,

 

I bought this computer back in August of 2022 for college. Few days ago it wouldn’t charge and a friend as informed me my battery has failed. I no longer have warranty and my friend is suggesting I send it in or buy a new one.

 

However I find it odd the battery died after only 3 years. What can I do? I can’t  afford a new computer and I have classes this semester.
