HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0050tx

I have Sk Hynix 8 GB DDR4 RAM installed by default (from Manufacturer). Maximum speed of that RAM is 3200 MHz but currently it is operating over 2667 MHz so how can I solve this?

Hi:

The problem is not solvable.  Actually, there isn't a problem at all.

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.

HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-dk0050tx Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

The fastest speed your notebook's processor can run the memory at is limited to 2666 MHz.

Intel Core i79750H Processor 12M Cache up to 4.50 GHz Product Specifications

That is why the DDR4-3200 memory is only running at 2666 MHz.

HP installs the memory they had on hand at the time your PC was manufactured, so they must have installed a DDR4-3200 memory chip instead of a DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip as the product specs indicate.
