HP Omen 17 - 11800h, Geforce 3080
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi guys/gals,

I have the above mentioned HP Omen 17 with the massive 330w power brick. The adapter is like a ball and chain, and breaks toes when you accidentally kick it so it kind of sucks big time. The brick isn't close to the wall plug, it's close to the laptop which is a bad decision and makes a negative factor so much more worse.

So i was wondering can i get an extension barrel connector? With a male plug on the PC end and a female socket to plug the existing power cable in to.Just like this...

A 6 foot one means i can bury the ball and chain brick adapter in the corner and not snap toes kicking it. If so what would be the stats of the extension cable i need, like connector length and diameter and does it use a 3rd pin for something too?

Thanks HP Legends!
