Just to clarify, you want an SSD for the OS and two HDD's, correct?
I cannot find anything that fits that description.
HP (like all the other MGS's) are switching over to the new thinner style of laptop, doing away with the older case design.
I cannot find a current model that even has two HDD bays anymore, let along that also has an m.2 slot.
If you can find a Caddy that will replace the optical drive in the Omen, that looks like your best bet.
Otherwise, you'll have to accept using a USB external for the backups.

Only one HDD bay available on the Omen AN series.
Sometimes an opticle drive can be replaced with a caddy to accept an SSD/HDD, if you prefer.
I dont know if there is one that will fit your Omen, you will have to investigate that yourself.
Here is an example of what I mean...

They are both sata III connections using cables to the motherboard.
Here is the manual for your model.

So the speed will be the same and it's maybe better to install the extra HDD through a DVD adapter.
Correct me if I am wrong.
I saw in your previous post that there is just one HDD bay in the HP Omen. Does HP has a similar powerfull laptop i7 (7series) 17 inch Azerty (Belgium) 256GB SSD >= 1TB HDD
The powerfull Nividia is NOT necessary as we will use it NOT to play games with. I just want a powerfull type with 2 HDD's for direct backups with Acronis software.
I am not familiar with the HP laptops...
thanks for your quick replies

Ah, Ok then. Ill look around and see what I find.
You would do best to also look around in the HP Store (online in Belgium) and see what they offer.
In years past, the Pavilion series had some models with dual HDD bays. You would simply buy the harness and brackets to add a drive to the 2nd space.
Also, you might want to look at the HP Business laptops specs. They will of course be more pricey than a consumer Pavilion series.
IF I find something, I will report back.

Dear Sir,
thank you for your efforts. I take note that HP doesn't have a suitable model with space for 1 SSD for OS and 2 baysfor Harddisks. I will look for a Caddy that will replace the optical drive in the Omen. I suppose that not all caady's are suitable for every model. The thickness has something to do with it but is maybe not the only parameter...
