i have hp pavilion gaming 17-cd0012nt. one slot has 512 gb m.2 ssd.
i would like to ask if there are 2 slot on the laptop?

There is only one slot for M.2  NVME.  The Wi-Fi M.2 is the top socket and the NVME is under it and the SSD fits horizontal in the socket

You should have a 1TB HHD that can be upgraded to 2TB if you need space
